Tempeh Skewers and Tahini Dip
Crispy tempeh skewers with a tahini dipping sauce.⁠⁠
⁠⁠
For the skewers:⁠⁠
⁠⁠For the sauce:⁠⁠
  • Tahini⁠⁠
  • Soy sauce/ Tamari sauce⁠⁠
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, crushed⁠⁠
  • 2 tbsp grated ginger⁠⁠
  • 2 tbsp lime juice (fresh squeezed)⁠⁠
Method:⁠⁠
Cut the tempeh into roughly 2x2cm size cubes. Drizzle over the soy/ Tamari sauce and allow them to soak it up. Toss in the nutritional yeast flakes. Spread onto a baking sheet and bake in a pre-heated oven at 200C for 25-30min OR add to your air fryer for 25-30min.⁠⁠

Serve:⁠⁠
With a squeeze of fresh lime over and chopped coriander as garnish. Enjoy with sticky jasmine rice, stirfry Asian veggies, noodles, in a salad or on their own as a snack😋⁠⁠
⁠⁠
Mix all the sauce ingredients together (adjust according to your taste) and drizzle over the top (add water if too thick) or use as a dip.⁠⁠
